Visual Music: Rhythm and Melody

Michael Spears, Kind of Black, 48" x 48", oil on canvas, 2020

This exhibition features Kind of Black, Michael Spears' most recent work that intertwines reflections on both the Black Lives Matter movement and jazz. Also included are works from his series on the influence of religion in Rhythm and Blues during the 60’s and 70’s.
