Magus Magnus' "Idylls for a Bare Stage" Book Launch

Magus Magnus, author of Heraclitean Pride, and former Director of the Yockadot Poetics Theatre Project celebrates the release of his latest book, Idylls for a Bare Stage at the Athenaeum. Featuring performances by the Actors' Center of Washington D.C. and music by Old Songs with Mark Jickling and Chris Mason. There will be performances from Idylls for a Bare Stage as well as other relevant works. Magnus will also debut his producing entity, Sui Generis Literary Performing Arts Lab, an in-progress framework for creating approaches to acting the Idylls and developing the Art of the Poetic Monologue.

Featured Actors’ Center performers planned for the evening are Margaret Anthony, Genna Davidson, Carol McCaffrey, Kimberly Mikec, Rachel Morrissey, Paul Morton, Harlie Sponaugle, and Sue Struve.
